Lighting
I've been spending a lot of time on all of these lights in the levels lately, because I felt that some improvements could be made in the overall appearance of these levels.
Through a lot of trial and error and some great advice at the Postmortem forums, I've begun to realize that lighting a level is a real art. Choosing the right colors, and brightness and then positioning them in such a way so that shadows fall where you want them to, is a definite skill.
I may not be an expert at any of this, and my skills probably still need some more work, but I'll keep on experimenting with everything....

There's still some work to be done on the shadows obviously, but lighting itself is close to professional quality. The map itself, thanks largely to the lighting work you've done, looks like that part of town you only drive through during the day and don't go near at all during the night. It's a shame you have to monsters in it.
